It's very pocket friendly and the subscription price starts as low as N200. Only they maintains their promises, it's a bad market to MultiChoice and other network providers in Nigeria as many people will now rely on the wifi instead of the usual monthly subscription from MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9Mobile etc.
TSTV operate on a different platform, multichoice only have rights over satelitte channel not telecom broadcast, the technology that will be used by Tstv according to some is hbb, which hybrid or fusion of satelitte and telcom to view television, I believe channels like bein sports that will broadcast the football leagues will be on the telecom site as such dstv has no right over them.
Where To Buy TSTv Decoder?
You can buy the decoder and dish in Lagos, Owerri, Abuja, Portharcourt and Kano for now. It's expected to be available in other states and cities as soon as possible.

Here the two most basic and easy things you can do foryour batteries.

1. AVOID HEAT
Aside from general use, heat is probably the biggest killer of batteries. It's also the easiest to avoid. Don't leave your battery in a parked car during the summer. Don't leave it out in the sun. Don't use wireless chargers or high-voltage quick chargers if they're making your phone feel hot. Super heavy applications that make your phone hot? Avoid those too. Don't block the vents on your laptop. Put it on a fan-stand. Store your batteries in a cool dry place.

2. AVOID CHARGING ALL THE WAY UP, OR
DISCHARGING ALL THE WAY DOWN
Lithium-ion batteries like the one in your phone really don't like to be charged from zero to 100 percent, or discharged from 100 percent to zero. Lithium-ion's won't succumb to the "memory effect" and calibrating them is questionably useful. Charge your battery a little bit whenever you can. Plug it in when you're not using. Top it off whenever you can. Always err on the side of keeping it charged in fits and starts over one long charge and then one long discharge. There are plenty of other measures you can take if you're really concerned, but these two will give you the
greatest benefit for the least amount of trouble. Batteries can be a fickle thing, but if you follow these two most basic guidelines, you can rest assured you've got the basics right.

Samsung's Note8 Is Its Biggest Galaxy Phone Yet

Samsung's Note8 Is Its Biggest Galaxy Phone Yet

Samsung on Wednesday unveiled its Galaxy Note8
smartphone, positioning the oversized handset as the ideal
choice for those who want to do bigger things. The new
Android-powered device's larger Infinity Display features
nearly bezel-less full-frontal glass and an edge-to-edge
screen.
The Note8 comes with an improved S Pen that will allow
users to communicate in what the company described as
more "personal ways."
The Galaxy Note8 is both water- and dust-resistant, and it
supports fast wireless charging. Under the hood, it features
6 GB of RAM, an Octa Core 2.36-GHz Quad + 1.7-GHz Quad
10nm processor, 65 GB of storage, and expandable
memory.
Although the handset is built around a 6.3-inch Quad HD+
Super OMOLED screen with a truly wide 18.5:9 aspect ratio,
it still can be considered a true "handset," as it can fit in
most users' hands reasonably well.
The S Pen allows users to send handwritten notes and even
create animated GIF files from videos. Samsung has touted
this functionality as a true step up from traditional text
messaging.
The S Pen is more than a stylus, as it features a 0.7mm tip
that is far more precise that the styluses that were used
with Palm and other devices a decade ago. It also is truly
connected to the device. It has 4,096 levels of pressure, and
thus can respond to the touch of the pen tip more
accurately. It has eraser functionality as well.
Another touted improvement in the Galaxy Note8 is its
Always On Display, which allows users to receive and read
notifications without unlocking the device.
Preordering for the Galaxy Note8 began on Thursday. It will
be available from major carriers, or as an unlocked version.
The unlocked handset will retail for US$929.
Dual Cameras
Among its feature highlights are the Galaxy Note8 rear
cameras -- as in plural. It is the first handset to feature two
12-MP rear cameras with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
These cameras offer both wide-angle and telephoto lenses,
which give users greater control of the depth of field. Users
can adjust the bokeh effect in preview mode, as well as
after a photo is taken. The wide-angle lens has a Dual Pixel
sensor with rapid autofocus functionality, capturing sharp
images in low-light conditions.
The camera further offers a Dual Capture mode: Both
cameras are utilized to take two photos simultaneously --
one a close-up using the telephoto lens, and the other a
wide-angle shot of the same subject.
In addition to the dual rear cameras, the Galaxy Note8 has
an 8-MP Smart Auto Focus front-facing camera that can be
used for video chats as well as selfies.
Premium Smartphone
With its key features -- including the three cameras and
large display -- the Samsung Galaxy Note8 clearly is meant
to be a premium smartphone. However, it isn't exactly the
company's newest flagship product.
"With Samsung, we look first at the hardware; the display is
gorgeous," said Ramon Llamas, research manager for
wearables and mobile phones at IDC
"It feels good in the hand, and it is a great looking device,
but it is really the software that makes this thing hum --and
there it isn't revolutionary," he told TechNewsWorld.
"The Galaxy Note8 is just moving it further in the same
direction," added Llamas.
Still, "the Note8 appears to be the clear direction of what
Samsung believes the premium smartphone design should
look like," observed Wayne Lam, principal analyst for mobile
electronics at IHS Markit .
"By extending their Infinity Display design language from the
Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung is evolving to maximize the
screen real-estate of the device while keeping the handset
ergonomic enough for everyday use," he told
TechNewsWorld. "The inclusion of the dual OIS cameras are
interesting, and should offer improvements to telephoto
videos and photo stabilization."
Price Point
The issue will be whether even the core Samsung customer
will embrace the handset, given that it is a premium device
without any key revolutionary benefits or improvements.
What it does add may be too little -- even for the core
audience.
"All these innovations come at a price, and the cost of the
Note8 will be the most expensive version of the series --
more so than the ill-fated Note7," added Lam.
Yet, Samsung is appealing to the hard-core Note users, he
suggested.
"This demographic values utility and performance over other
things," Lam noted, "whereas Apple tries to appeal to all
smartphone users with their zen-like simplicity and
designs."
The next iPhone -- the 10th anniversary model -- could give
Samsung's Note8 a run for its money.
This is true even though "it's appealing to a different
demographic really," according to Lam. "However, from a
price point perspective, they are both attracting the same
customers."
Past Debacles Forgotten?
It remains unknown whether Samsung can put the Note7
disaster in the past for good.
"With each device that comes out, that debacle with the
exploding batteries is further in the rearview mirror," said
IDC's Llamas.
"They did everything they could to restore trust, and that
was a key part of the presentation that introduced the
Note8," he added.
"They are reminding everything that they are a key innovator
in this space, so will Samsung sell millions of units? The
answer is yes," added Llamas. "They'll sell millions
worldwide -- but we should remember again that this isn't
their true flagship device, just a shift to a more premium
handset."

Alleged billionaire kidnapper Evans reportedly returns to Lagos to face arraignment in court

Alleged billionaire kidnapper Evans reportedly returns to Lagos to face arraignment in court

- With the conclusion of investigation into his alleged crime,
Evans, the reported billionaire kidnapper is to be arraigned in
Lagos

- A police source is quoted as saying Evans will be arraigned in
a court in Ikeja on Wednesday, August 30
- During the arraignment, Ademola Kazeem, the Attorney-General
of Lagos state, is to lead the prosecution
Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, better known as Evans the
alleged billionaire kidnapper, is to make his first appearance,
many weeks after his arrest, in a Lagos court.
Evans is to appear on Wednesday, August 30 before the Ikeja
Division of the Lagos State High Court, according to a report by
Premium Times.
The report quoted a source in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as
saying Evans is scheduled to appear before Justice Hakeem
Oshodi as the Attorney-General of Lagos state, Adeniji Kazeem,
will lead the prosecution team.
However, Olukoya Ogungbeje, the lawyer who filed a
fundamental rights enforcement suit on behalf of Evans against
the police at a federal court in Lagos, claimed he does not have
any information of the likely arraignment of Evans.

Evans was arrested in his Magodo Estate home in Lagos on June
10 by a special team led by Abba Kyari.
He will now likely be prosecuted according to the anti-kidnapping
laws of Lagos state and would be facing charges of armed
robbery, kidnapping and murder among others.
On Tuesday, David Igbodo, the lawyer to the police on the case
of fundamental against the law enforcement agency in relation
to Evans, said the investigation into his alleged crime was almost
concluded.
He said: “The case is a very controversial one, it is a sensitive
case.
“The Inspector-General of Police devoted time, efforts,
intelligence, and strategies to ensure that he was arrested. He
beat strategies for the past six years.
“When he was arrested, it took time for the police to complete
investigations and very soon, Nigerians will be made to know
what is the next line of action for Evans.”
He said as a lawyer, the IGP respects the rights of citizens.
“He has been organising conferences and seminars for the
Nigeria Police, both investigators and prosecutors, to make sure
nobody is kept in custody beyond 24 or 48 hours without an
order of a court of competent jurisdiction.
“The Inspector General of Police cannot keep Evans without a
court order, there is a valid court order that is still subsisting
as I speak with you for three months. You know Evans was
arrested on the 10th of June; since when he was arrested till
now, it’s not up to three months.
“But meanwhile investigations have almost been completed and
very soon Nigerians will be made to know what is the next line
of action in the case of Evans,” he said.
House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa , has hinted that alleged
notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, better
known as Evans, may be prosecuted in the state.
The argument is that most of his alleged criminal activities were
carried out in Lagos state where he was also arrested in his
Magodo estate mansion.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Reviews And Specifications

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Reviews And Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 won’t just be your average next-Galaxy, when it arrives. It will be the follow-up to the most troubled Samsung device ever. For many users, it is the firstNote they can buy since the Galaxy Note 4, back in 2014.Needless to say, the pressure is on for Samsung. Let’s recap some of the most important rumors about the device.
Galaxy Note 8 rumors

At this moment, Galaxy Note 8 development is very much in full swing . Many details have likely not yet been decided, but
we’ll discuss some of the more notable ones. We're looking at the device's most important features and specifications:
design, display, internals, camera, battery and release date

Galaxy Note 8 display

After it was established that Samsung will indeed be making another Note this year, rumors quickly surfaced suggesting
the next Note could come equipped with Samsung’s first commercial 4K UHD AMOLED display . Aside from rumors, so
far there is no indication yet that this will indeed happen. As for the size of display and, consequently, the device itself, information points to a 6.3-inch diagonal. An alleged Note 8 screen protector suggests the phone has a more traditional 16:9 screen ratio, unlike the 18.5:9 ratio of
the Galaxy S8. However, when the device surfaced in the database of an HTML5 test website, the display resolution
does suggest a screen ratio of 18.5:9. However, everythingoint to the Galaxy Note 8 having an Infinity display, with
minimal bezels and no physical home key.
Galaxy Note 8 design

With the Galaxy Note 8 sporting a display much like that of the S8 , it should surprise nobody if the device ends up looking like similar. New renders shared by Evan Blass confirm all suspicions, showing an S8-with-less-rounded-corners. Needless to say, the device's body will no doubt be water resistant and dust proof, as this has been standard fare for Samsung's recent flagship devices.
Still, no Note without S Pen. Therefore, we fully expect the Galaxy Note 8 to be slightly thicker than the S8 because space will have to be made to house Samsung's famous stylus. We do not count on Samsung cutting back on battery capacity, so only a slightly bigger body can accommodate both
S Pen and battery.

Galaxy Note 8 internals
Traditionally, new Note devices lean heavily on the Galaxy S- flagship the preceded it in any given year. Under the hood of the Galaxy Note 8, therefor, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 or Samsung's own Exynos 8895 could be doing the honors. However, some rumors have surfaced, suggesting an upgraded soc in the form of a Snapdragon 836 .Since the Galaxy S8 ships with 4GB RAM, but a Note is heavier on the software front, the Galaxy Note 8 could very well be the first Galaxy with 6GB RAM in all versions. We will have to wait and see if Samsung decides to increase the phone's flash storage as well, or if it deems 64GB enough for the Note 8. Or, if the hidden third option comes into play, with Samsung launches different versions with different storage capacities.
Galaxy Note 8 camera

On the camera-front, the Note 8 could bring a first for Samsung: a dual-lens setup Although the Galaxy S8 was expected to come with two rear cameras, such a setup never made to the final version of the device. However, we have seen prototypes touting such a camera module, apparently
having one twelve, and one thirteen-megapixel sensor. The first is believed to be a wide-angle lens and the second a
telephoto lens. Together, this setup should deliver up to three times optical zoom.
It is too early to tell if Samsung wants to add its own twist to such a camera configuration. However, patents
have suggested nifty features like a kind of tracking ability where the wide-angle lens captures the broader picture, while the telephoto lens tracks a particular subject.

Galaxy Note 8 battery

We have yet to come across tangible information about the Galaxy Note 8's battery. In the light of the Note 7, Samsung will probably not try to squeeze the maximum capacity thinkable into the phone's body. Still, since the Galaxy S8+ has a 3500 mAh battery, the Note 8 will very likely end up with a capacity below that value. In fact, recent leaks are pointing to a 3300 mAh capacity, which aligns just fine with our expectations.
Galaxy Note 8 software and other features

Of course, the Galaxy Note 8 will have room for an SD-card, and be Bluetooth 5.0 compatible. Fast charging using a USB
type-C port is a giving in this class, as is Bixby. Samsung is surely working hard to make the intelligent software assistant
much more functional before the Note 8 launches.

Earlier, rumors suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with Android 7.1.1 out of the box. Android O will only arrive on the phone later in 2017, or even early 2018. It remains to be seen what, or even if, Samsung has updated the Samsung
Experience UX, given how clean and functional it is on the S8.
Whether Samsung will have its fingerprint-sensor-under-the-display-tech ready in time for the Galaxy Note 8 launch remains to be seen. For the moment, the most likely scenario is that the sensor is once again on the back , but in a position that is easier to reach. We have heard some whispering that Samsung actually has come up with a solution to the in-screen sensor problem, but that has to become much more
tangible before we can take it seriously.

Galaxy Note 8 release date

Prediction the Galaxy Note 8 release date was surprisingly tricky, for a long time. Many different launch options were on
the table. However, recently, Samsung ended all speculation. The device's own Unpacked event will take place on August 23 .That is when we'll finally get to meet what might prove to be Samsung's most important device in years, as the company
moves to make the Note 7's debacle truly a thing of the past.

Galaxy Note 8 price

Last but far from least, let's talk about pricing. How much will the Galaxy Note 8 cost? If we take the Galaxy S8+ as a
starting point, but add more advanced features to it, it is not hard to imagine the Galaxy Note 8 having a very premium
price tag. And that is just what the first rumors are pointing at: the Galaxy Note 8 price may just fall short of a thousand
euro, for the model with 64GB storage. 128GB version would obviously be even more expensive.
